Anna Pastore, 89, beloved mother and grandmother, entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Clara Maas Hospital in Belleville, NJ.
Born and raised in Jersey City, she was a resident of Bloomfield for 20 years. She was a member of St. Valentine’s Church in Bloomfield, NJ. Before her retirement over 25 years ago, Mrs. Pastore was a seamstress for several manufacturing companies in the Jersey City area.
Mrs. Pastore was predeceased by her husband Anthony in 2002, her son Peter Pastore in 2012, and her granddaughter Jessica Rose in May 2017. She was predeceased by her brothers Angelo Romano, Anthony Romano, Nicholas Romano, Joseph Romano, Louis Romano and her dear sister, Rose DeCanto. She is survived by her beloved son Anthony Jr. and his wife Mayra; her daughter Angela Pastore; her grandson Daniel, her lifelong and dear friends Rose & Pat D’Errico and many nieces and nephews.
She adored her grandchildren and is now reunited with her beloved granddaughter, Jessica Rose, whom we are sure welcomed her dear grandmother with open arms.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Halpin Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad Street, in Bloomfield. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at St. Valentine’s Church, 125 North Spring Street, in Bloomfield. Interment to follow at Clover Leaf Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ.
