Anne B. Lovallo, nee Ciampi, passed away on October 5, 2022 at the age of 99 with her loving niece by her side.
She was born in Newark, New Jersey on July 26, 1923. She is pre-deceased by the love of her life of 77 years, Louis A. Lovallo, son Louis, Jr, son Robert, sister Jennie Ciampi, brothers Rocco and Tony Ciampi and her mother, Millie Ciampi.
She had a fun-loving competitive spirit acquiring both bowling and running championship trophies during her younger years. During World War II, she employed her patriotic duty as a crane operator in the manufacture of bombs and war products. She lived a well balanced life and attended mass at St. Thomas Catholic Church up until she became home bound at the age of 93. She was an excellent homemaker and enjoyed sharing many moments in the kitchen passing on family recipes and traditions to family and friends alike. She and Lou shared many grand memories vacationing in their Poconos home and enjoying weekends in Atlantic City and the Jersey shore.
She is survived by her niece, Mary (Marie) Assantes, Robert Assantes, great nephew, and Andrea Assantes, great niece. She will be missed dearly by her family, many friends and caregivers. Please visit the website for details regarding the service.
