Danny Gray of Bloomfield, N.J. passed away on Saturday February 15, 2014 in Morristown Memorial Hospital, Morristown, N.J. at the age of 37. He was born in Winfield Park, N.J., was a Bloomfield guy most of his life who loved living in the town and had a great time attending all the schools. He participated in football, wrestling, tennis, madrigal choral group and the key club. After graduating in 1994, Danny attended Rutgers in New Brunswick while working as a Veterinarian Technician. After graduating Rutgers he attended St. Georges University School of veterinary medicine in Grenada, West Indies. Danny was then invited by his good friend, Dr. Bret Levitsky to join the V.E.R.G. South Emergency Animal Hospital in Marine Park, Brooklyn to run it's new hospital about three years ago.
Unfortunately Danny was diagnosed with lymphoma cancer 18 months ago and had to stop working 6 months ago. Sadly none of the chemo's were able to stop the tumors from growing. Danny got the most out of his 37 years enjoying travel, golf, boating, skiing, casino's and doing many activities with both his parents, who he was extremely close with, and who are both devastated by his passing.
Danny is survived by his parents, Mari (nee Furnback) Favire of Winfield Park, NJ and Dan Gray of Bloomfield; his brother Richard Favire & his wife Christine, sisters Kim Brown and Michelle Favire & her significant other Gary McGinness; also many grieving nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
