On Tuesday, February 2, 2021, Howard Coltenback, loving father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the age of 84.
Howard was born on August 23, 1936 in Union City, NJ. He loved bowling and billiards and was well known for his prowess in both throughout Hudson County, NJ. Howard was also a councilman in Secaucus, NJ. He enjoyed watching Steelers games with his family. His witty humor, quips and uncanny ability to fill a room with his jovial laugh was always expected and appreciated by friends and loved ones. He loved all the family pets, especially his own dogs, Midas and Sasha, that he regularly made pancakes and steak for throughout their lives. But, what he loved most of all was being Pee-Pah to his three grandchildren.
Howard was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Grace, as well as his sister, Grace. He is survived by his Children, Donald Coltenback, Judianne Bisceglie and Jeffrey Coltenback and their spouses and Charles Santorella; his three grandchildren, Bianca, D.J. and Francesca; his brother Robert as well as nieces and nephews.
A viewing and service will be held from 3 – 6 pm, Saturday February 6th at Halpin-Bitecola Funeral home, located at 1284 Broad Street, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. The services will be held virtually by clicking on the link below.
