Josephine Busichio, a beloved member of the Bloomfield community, has passed away at the age of 85. Born on February 9, 1938, Josephine brought joy and light into the lives of all who knew her. Her warm personality, caring nature, and outgoing spirit endeared her to countless friends and family members.
Throughout her life, Josephine cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. Family was at the center of her world, and she dedicated herself to creating lasting memories with them. Whether it was playing cards or simply sharing laughter and stories, Josephine knew how to make every gathering special. Her ability to bring people together was a true testament to her nurturing spirit.
In addition to building meaningful connections with family and friends, Josephine pursued her passions with unwavering enthusiasm. She had a talent for cooking, turning simple ingredients into delectable dishes that brought everyone around the table. Her culinary creations were not only delicious but also a reflection of her love for those she shared them with.
On September 27, 2023, Josephine passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the warmth and love she had fostered throughout her life. While we mourn her loss deeply, we must celebrate the amazing woman she was and the countless lives she touched.
To honor Josephine's memory and pay tribute to a life well-lived, visitation services will be held on October 3, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Halpin-Bitecola-Brookdale Funeral & Cremation Services located at 1284 Broad St, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. The following day, a Mass will be held at Saint Thomas the Apostle Church at 60 Byrd Ave, Bloomfield, NJ 07003. The Mass will begin at 9:30 AM, with the service concluding by 10:30 AM.
Josephine leaves behind an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband Michael Busichio, of 59 years, her devoted son Michael Buschio, her cherished son John Busichio, her adored daughter-in-law Lisa Busichio, and her treasured grandchildren Louis and Laine. Their love for Josephine will endure as they carry forward the memories and values she instilled in them.
Josephine also touched the lives of many others who were fortunate to call her friend. Freddy Ardizzone and her friends at the Brookdale Barbershop were among those who experienced Josephine's unwavering support and friendship. They will forever hold a special place in their hearts for the remarkable woman she was.
