Josue I. Musni of Bloomfield, NJ passed away peacefully at his home on May 15, 2016. He was 86. Born September 1, 1929 in Sorsogon City, Philippines, he was the son of the late Sixto Musni and the late Concepcion Musni (née Isidoro).
Josue retired in 1998 from the NJ Department of Transportation, where he worked for 18 years as a Civil Engineer. He had also been a Civil Engineer in the Philippines before relocating to the US.
Josue was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield and had been a member of the church choir; he loved to sing and listen to music. He was also fond of war history and watching sports and old movies, especially westerns and war films.
He is survived by his beloved wife Norma P. Musni (née Pepito); his three dear sons, Cyd P. Musni and wife Tamara Rupnow, Cris N. Musni and Omar J. Musni; and his loving granddaughter Kaley A. Musni.
Visitation is Friday, May 20th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral & Cremation Service, 1284 Broad St. in Bloomfield. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 21st at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Bloomfield. Interment is private.
