Loretta Centanni, 91, died Thursday September 6th, from advanced pneumonia and other complications.
Loretta was always one of the most dynamic personalities in the room, beloved by family, friends and community. She was also a club date drummer and singer in the 40s through 70s and appeared on the Ed Sullivan Show.
Loretta is survived by her children, Patty and Barry, their spouses Joe and Sheryl, three grandchildren, Tim, Michael and Laura, and three great grandchildren, Poppy, Autumn and Meadow.
Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, September 12th, from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm, at Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad St in Bloomfield. A funeral mass will be held at 10 am, on Thursday September 13, at St Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd ave, in Bloomfield. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
