Louise (nee Breslof) Feltz of Bloomfield, N.J. passed away on Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at the age of 90.
Louise was born in New York City and grew up in the Bronx. She had lived in Bloomfield, N.J. for the past 61 years. Louise was a sales associate for Haynes department store in Newark, N.J. for 11 years and then went on to be a sales associate for Kay Jewelers in the Garden State Plaza Mall in Paramus, N.J. for 25 years prior to her retirement.
Louise had graduated from Hunter College in Manhattan with a degree in chemistry. She enjoyed going to New York City to visit with family, friends, attend dinners, shows and to go shopping. Louise loved listing to Frank Sinatra's music and was very active in the arts community. At one time she owned her own art gallery that was located in her home. She never missed the crossword puzzle in the Sunday New York Times and always completed them in blue ink
Louise was predeceased by her husband, Lionel. She is survived by her sons, Neil Feltz & his wife Jean and Andrew Feltz & his wife Olga; a sister Elaine Olesker; and grandchildren, Timothy, Lawrence, William and Benjamin.
Graveside Services will be on Tuesday, October 13th at 1:30 pm in King Solomon Memorial Park, 550 Dwasline Road (off of Allwood Road), Clifton, N.J. Shiva will be on Tuesday October 13th from 7 – 9 pm at her son Andrew’s home, 169 Upper Mountain Avenue, Montclair, N.J.
