Luz Rodriguez, born on January 3, 1942, in the US Virgin Islands, St. Croix, has left behind a legacy that will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing her. She peacefully passed away on April 14, 2024.
Luz dedicated over 30 years of her life to Interchem Corporation, where she served as a Senior Associate of Regulatory Affairs. Her commitment and hard work left a lasting impact on all those she worked with. Beyond her professional life, Luz was known for her vibrant and joyful spirit. She was the life of the party - always the last one on the dance floor, closing down the club and spreading laughter wherever she went. Her ability to find joy in every situation was truly remarkable.
Those who knew Luz understood her as a strong-willed individual who was always there to offer a caring hand. Her personality shone bright, bringing warmth and comfort to all who crossed her path. Luz lived life to the fullest, embracing every moment with grace and enthusiasm. Her love for dancing brought light and energy into every room she entered.
One of Luz's proudest accomplishments was being a loving grandmother. She adored her grandchildren Joanna Ringwald and Richard Rodriguez beyond measure, finding immense joy in watching them grow and succeed.
Luz Rodriguez will be dearly missed by many, including her surviving family members: Barbara Clark (daughter), Joanna Ringwald (granddaughter), Richard Rodriguez (grandson), and Janessa Polanco (great granddaughter). Though she may no longer be with us in person, her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing this remarkable woman.
Services to honor Luz's life will be held at Halpin-Bitecola-Brookdale Funeral & Cremation Services on April 19, 2024, with visitation starting at 4:00 PM and concluding at 8:00 PM. The interment will take place at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus on April 20, 2024, with proceedings beginning at 11:30 AM followed by interment at 11:45 AM.
In loving memory of Luz Rodriguez - a beacon of light whose spirit will continue to shine bright in our lives forevermore.
