Robert S. Hayes

Robert Stephan Hayes “Bobby”, 70, passed away on 5/9/2023 at his residence in Bloomfield, NJ.  He was born on 8/3/1952 in Newark, NJ to Stephen and Olga Hayes.  Bobby has no surviving family members.  However, he will be greatly missed by many dear friends.

Bobby graduated Essex Catholic High School in Newark in 1970 and continued his education at Jersey City State College, receiving a bachelor’s degree in arts and a teaching certificate for music in 1974.

Bobby was an experienced tradesman and skilled welder.  He was employed by Manhattan Welding Company in Hillside, NJ and The Grove in Cedar Grove, NJ. 

Bobby enjoyed time with close friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 30^th, 5pm to 8pm at Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home in Bloomfield, NJ.
