Walter John Shattes

Walter John Shattes, entered eternal life on November 10th, 2018. He was 94 years old.
Walter served in the United States Army during World War II and also received a Doctorate in Physics. He was a member of the Watchung Presbyterian Church.
Walter was predeceased by his wife, Lydia Ann Shattes in 2015.
He is survived by two sons, Stephen (Phyllis) and David (Leslie) Shattes, a granddaughter, Barbara Schiraldi (Paul), as well as two great-grandchildren, Alexandria and Nicholas.
A memorial service will be held at 11am, on Saturday November 24th at Watchung Presbyterian Church, 375 Watchung Ave, in Bloomfield. Services were provided under the direction of Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home. Please visit the funeral home website -www.brookdalefh.com to share condolences.
